zombie finger puppets
Wednesday, April 21st, 2010Zombie finger puppets and other clay things have been keeping me very busy. This week I’d like to simply share some photos and call it a night.
More of the little zombies who are kicking off my finger puppet series.

Greta – something of a dead starlet. She was sold (that sounds so dirty)…she found a new home on Saturday night at the Camille Leone event.

And finally, the lovers. Day of the Dead inspired, obviously. I don’t think this is the only pair I’ll do in this style. I really liked making them and feel compelled to do more.

Finally, here’s a hint at something to be unveiled May 1st. I’ve done a bit of collaborating. More details next week or on facebook in the next couple of days.

See you next week!

Awwww gretta is adorable. I like her dress very much. No haikuing today i think the allergies made my creative part of my brain leak out but i will share a story i told a friend. It made me chuckle.
This is a story of an egg named pete.
One day Pete was sitting in his nest when along came a squirrel. This squirrel had never seen an egg before so he stole Pete from his happy home and ran him down the tree to his hole where his wife and family were cozy and warm. They all marveled at the new site in their tree side dwelling nuzzling the egg and keeping it warm. Pete eventually hatched into a baby condor where on the squirrels who had no idea what was going on began to bite and eventually kill him. The end.
That is the most creative I’ve been in weeks. But the story made me chuckle so i thought i’d share with others who have a twisted since of humor since all i got from my friend was weird looks.

that’s a great story amanda, but after eating the squirrel, his wife and his family, how did the condor get out of the squirrel hole? the hole would be too small for the condor’s body. although, i suppose the condor could stick its head out and pretend to be the tree.
in any case, zombie finger puppets would eat it’s brains so maybe the question is rhetorical after all.
