Don’t worry about the set for Sandman. Most of the comics are told as one off’s anyway. Awesome series though. You will really enjoy it i am sure.

I love Jim Henson Studios and Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors. He worked with another favorite and wrote Good Omens. You all should read it its like amazing. I heard about Mirror Mask because it was being advertised in the re release of Labyrinth a few years ago *another Jim Henson Studios film. Muppets FTW. I have a huge collection of Gaiman’s stuff because my dad loved his Sandman Series i just havent gotten around to reading them yet because i dont know if we have the full set any more.

hi adam yes i guess MirrorMask is Alice-esque. it’s one of my all time favorite films. for those who are into neil gaiman because of Coraline, check out MirrorMask which he did along with the incredible artist Dave McKean. I blahged about it here:

It’s like my personal mission to make people aware of that film so thanks for mentioning it. For some reason, not many seem to have heard of it which is a shame as it is quite extraordinary. I wasn’t aware of it myself until a few months back when I stumbled on it searching Netflix by writer names.

awesome haiku every one..wow!

matthew, omg yes. i had forgotten about that and some how mixed it in to this one which i was thinking doesn’t look as dark as i’d hoped but it’s hard to tell. it was the mcgee alice indeed. i would really love a super creepy alice. the story deserves it in my opinion.

I love that song! Glad to see someone else has heard it.

This movie looks good but i really wanted to see the one that never got past the studios red tape. It was based on the game American Mcgee’s Alice. I loved that game and that version of alice would have been truly awesome.
