thinly veiled
Wednesday, October 24th, 2007Yay! Halloween is almost here! What are you guys doing? Costumes? No costumes? I’m still working out my plans, but it looks like I’ll be going to Howl-O-Scream this weekend at Busch Gardens. I’ve never been but I’ve been to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios and it was pretty cool. I also worked for a haunted house in New York that was put out by Universal. They hired this production team to do it and somehow I ended up working on set design, make up and acting. It was probably the funnest job I’ve ever had. Who doesn’t want to threaten people with chainsaws and hang out in a mock corn field drenched in blood? HooO!
Some of you may know that I am crazy about Adam York Gregory’s work (The Flowfield Unity). He sent me a link recently to an animated video he did for The Adventure’s of Loki’s song entitled My Black Dog . I really love the charming paper cut-out style. Take yourself a Halloween moment and check it out. If you have a YouTube account and can give him a good rating, even better. In the arts, much of the work done is a labor of love. Those virtual pats on the back are often all the artist gets, so be generous.
I’ll see you on Halloween. Fancy it landing on a Wednesday?! ![]()

in death’s cold embrace

Hi…sorry, this may not be the right place to post this….I really like your Lenoir-tangled-in-xmas-lights christmas cards in the title it says pack of 6 but in the description it says pack of 10….which one is true?
October 29th, 2007 at 4:37 pm
glad you enjoyed them both, lamer.

Hiya Lydia,
It’s a pack of 10. Thanks for pointing that error out. I just adjusted it so it should read correctly if you refresh your browser. The cards look great in person btw. I have the Let it Snow ones with Lenoir and the snowman and I was really impressed with how professional they came out. Hope you feel the same when you get yours. Calan_at_GingerDead_dot_com is my email addy if you have any other questions.

OO Awwh!
leNoir has found for
herself happiness and love
through Gingerdead’s fear.
Ginger must feel a
little twinge of jealousy
for her ghost lovers. ^^
