Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007Last week with all the eye drama, I forgot to mention some recent press. There’s a lovely review of GingerDead and Friends over at Wednesday Webcomic Review. Also, Matt Newton wrote an article on webcomics for his local newspaper: The Herald-Mail. I’m quoted as if I’m someone that matters. It’s a riot.

I don’t have anything interesting to ramble about so I’ll spare you. Let me just say thanks for the well wishes last week. My retina is settling back in nicely as far as i know, so yay!

Calan, if you’re mentioned and even quoted in print, congratulations - you’re now eligible for a Wikipedia article under their notorious “notability” guidelines, and the envy of all the rest of the webcomic artists out there. Nice quotes in the Herald-Mail by the way, and for the record, you are someone that matters.

justme: awww thanks! i guess you’re familiar with wikipedia’s purging of webcomic artists. don’t they know print is dead? ( i jest, of course. i don’t think i’ll ever read an entire book online. i like to snuggle with them in bed and hold them and turn their silky pages and stuff).

Holy nuts! I totally had a dream a few years back where this girl licked my eye. She put her tongue into my eye socket and curled it around the back of the eyeball. It felt so good in the dream that I actually wanted to try it… and then realized that some stuff should stay in dreams.
