damn song

Happy Wednesday 🙂

Before any BIFF fans jump my shit, I know Chris did a similar comic not too long ago. When he posted his, I sent him mine and said, “oh noes!” He laughed and said, “ah ha everyone will think you copied me.” 😛  I thought about skipping it for like a nano second, but I really like this strip and it’s relevant to futures strips, so here it is.  I figure it gives you the opportunity to see two different comickers approach the same concept.  Here’s the Book of Biff’s song comic.

If you haven’t been here since last Wednesday, you missed two holiday bonus comics.  Shame on you. 😛  To everyone that’s ordered some gothic / alternative greeting cards, thanks so much!

I’ll be back with more bonus strips before next Wednesday so check back.

I really like this one… I think it might actually be my most favorite Ginger Dead comic so far. 🙂

  2. calan Says:

    aww ty chris. 🙂

  3. CottonFluff Says:

Whoa, GingerDead swore- mostly. I like this one better than Biff’s; it might be nice as a shirt.

  4. Andrew (PerhapsToast) Says:

I wish music flowed out of my head like that. Maybe I could actually get something composed.

  5. calan Says:

CottonFluff, don’t tell the hall monitor! GingerDead doesn’t want any demerits 🙁

I loved Biff’s version too. I’m crazy about Chris’s work. It reminds me of The Far Side books I used to buy years ago.

I was thinking about a t-shirt but doing entire comic on them looks crappy and I’m not sure if that last panel drawing is enough. Any suggestions?

If any of you ever have a t-shirt request, don’t hesitate to let it be known. Even if you’re not planning on buying one but see something you think would be a great tee. I’ll keep it in mind when I’m in t-shirt design mode.

I’m definitely going to do the haiku one, but it needs to e entirely redrawn because the original is so small.

Andrew, have you tried a very sharp stick? 😛

Ouch that hurt! Inspired by that old NIN’s chestnut-Head Like a Hole? Would have bought some stuff but you gave me all that cool stuff for free and now my office is full. Gingerdead characters even atop my tree. Alas, still no Gingerdead panties to wear on my hole-thru head.

  7. Steamed Ian Says:

Both are good, but I like yours better..that smile after she punctures her skull is SOO what my reaction would be.

  8. Gabe Says:

    Love the expressions.

  9. calan Says:

    ty gabe 🙂

oooh look it’s Ian and he’s steamed! Thanks for coming by ian. readers, he does Steamed Carrot which I recently discovered and quickly became a fan of. Check it out on my links page.

Also, CottonFluff does a story based comic that i really adore. It stirs some childhood memories of favorite books and animations. In fact, I would love to see it one day animated. Anyway, it’s on my links page – Cottonfluff Hollow. Take a peek. This one you might want to share with your little ones if you have any. I would show it to mine, but i ate them. :O

Do not poke a hole in my head! If you do, I’ll become a human radio station that bleeds!

  12. calan Says:

Now why would that deter me? 😛
