knit one

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

The last time we saw Ennui she was tangled in that big web on Halloween night.Β  I thought it would be fun to consider how that situation might have turned out for her, thus today’s comic. I hope you enjoy.

I have been doing some GingerDead and Friends artwork lately with a holiday theme and have put together some new christmas t-shirts and holiday greeting cards. I’m pretty happy with them so far and am thinking that since they are sort of one panel GingerDead strips I’ll post them on non-update days as bonus strips. So, keep your eyes out this week as there will be frequent updates.

Do check out the store if you’re in the market for some alternative / goth greeting cards or are looking for a cool gift for that creepy pale kid in the family that makes you a little nervous. πŸ˜‰

Hehe. It’s cute seeing lenoir having fun doing something like that. πŸ™‚

i just got here from your comments over at the most excelent book of biff, and i must say that i quite like what i see. the delightful cutesygoth (for lack of a better term) aesthetic and endearing morbidity of humor shine like an eclipse on the summer solstice, while the rest of the world sits inside on it’s collective ass, and watches survivor. as well, it’s nice too, at least for once, get in at the ground floor of a new webcomic and be able to comment on it’s development as such occurs (especially as you appear to have really hit your stride with these last few), though being spared the task of working one’s way through a long ass archive is a mixed blessing.

also, we appear to have something of a similar taste in webcomics; i shall have to scour your links page quite thoroughly.

(oops, wrong code on those links)

(damnit! i just cant do things right today)

    Yay! Lenoir knits too! πŸ˜€

Spiders have the bitchiest sewing circles. I hope Lenoir doesn’t pick up any bad habits. She’s such a sweet and boney person.

  6. calan Says:

    – hahaha! You know Daniel, I don’t think she’s really paying any attention to that bitchy ol spider. I bet she’s a million miles away in her own thoughts just enjoying the tickley sensation of webs on her claws. πŸ™‚

    – Thanks Chris. πŸ™‚

    – Thanks J and welcome to my lil corner of cyberspace. Nice to have you here.

-Gabe, GingerDead is glad you noticed. πŸ˜›

“…the scones were totally stale, so i slipped into the nursery and ate her babies. Can you blame me?”

bursted out laughing on that one..hahaha…great site! I’m glad we share the same morbid tastes in humour. Care to link exchange? πŸ™‚

:O I just logged on to wordpress to add you to my links page and saw this awaiting moderation. I don’t do exchanges, but I added Steamed Carrot and you are more than welcome to add GingerDead to your links if you want. I certainly appreciate it.

I went through your archives earlier tonight and really love your humor. I agree we are alike. Perhaps we are on the same meds too? πŸ˜›

Readers check out: http://www.steamedcarrot.com to see why I’m hooked.
