If I do that absolutely nothing comes to me. Instead it's when I'm falling asleep, working on another project, brushing my teeth, etc that the ideas come to me. I'm learning the hard way that I will need to carry a notebook around because I can't tell you how many ideas I have forgotten. :/ I love your artwork and read your process on TWCL thread. My comics take 2 to 5 hours to do... but that's just the drawing, inking, coloring, posting part. Writing the comics is the hard part and that can take from 30 seconds to a week. :) Well that’s not bad. O.o seriously, i never tallied it up but say 4 hours or so, but often not all at once. i'm not a great artist so what looks so simple to the viewer, might actually take me a lot of attempts before i got something i was even remotely happy with. during those attempts i might get tired or annoyed and come back later or i might do it in one sitting. it's all done in PS with my wacom so thank goodness for the eraser tool and the ability to work in layers. umm like a zillion hours.
