Thursday, October 12th, 2006I couldn’t wait any longer to introduce Lenoir. So, here she is. My favorite thing about Lenoir is how simple her face is while still managing to be quite expressive. It takes me a number of tries usually, but it’s worth the effort I think. Anyway, I hope you enjoy today’s comic. See you tomorrow.

btw, if anyone is wondering, Lenoir is pronounced like Renoir. It’s the French words, ‘le’ and ‘noir’ translating to ‘the black’ but referencing the feeling of the genre of film noir, etc. ( bleak, dark, disturbing ).

i love this… especially the detail in the background on the blackboard. “dinosaurs=lies” i’m having such a bad day, i love this site it cracks me up. so deliciously dark.
